The winding road of the Great Ocean Road weaves around the jagged clifftops of Victoria’s picturesque coastline.   • See the Natural Wonders

    The Great Ocean Road stretches the entire coastal area, guaranteeing a range of magical attractions. But by far one of the greatest wonders, and most recognisable is the famous 12 Apostles. A series of glorious limestone stacks emerging from the choppy sea are an unforgettable sight to see. Forming millions of years ago from the weather and sea moulding them over time, these stacks were once a part of the coastal mainland. Built by the returning servicemen World War I, these soldiers carved out the jagged cliff to form a permanent memorial to those who died in the war.
